There is no real Kara's Comic for Comic Book Week January 23rd, 2013...........................this ish of "My Little Pony" was from November of 2012. ;S

I do not normally like to say bad things here because I want you all to ❤ comix as much as I do! But I am feeling a little bit under the weather..............*sadface!*.................& I am being a bit of a Gloomy Gertie today! ;b

My bf bought this for his niece for Xmas & after he read it...............oh yah he did! ;b ...............he showed me! OMG! IDW???????? WHY??????????? A comic book aimed at getting young girls in to comix & you make it a scary story about 'pod ponies'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????? With words like 'hippology' & 'chrysalis' & 'koalafications'???????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! & it is to be continued!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????? & you could have at least introduced all of the characters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8(

I am not going to list the creators or give the comic book a rating.........................but I just think that 'My Little Pony' would be sooooooooooo fabulous to be an introduction to girls just learning to read.................but not if they can not pronounce the words & get discouraged & scared by zombie ponies! & then try to explain to a 6 year old that she has to wait for a month to read the rest of the story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know that IDW wants to make as much money as possible but 6 year olds do not wait anxiously for 1 month!!!!!!! 6 year olds cry & then for get that the story ever existed!!!!!!!!!! :(

I am going to go & play with Pinkie Pie to make myself feel better! Bye! ;*b

Kara's Comic Book for Comic Book Week January 16th, 2013 is...............................with out a contest "Death Of The Family Collision-Part Three : Ceremony"! ❤

I can not say any thing about this ish....................the story is fabulous! The art work is some how flaw less with 2 different art teams! The colors are lovelie! & I am personally ❤ing "Death Of The Family"! The Joker is creepy & scary, & Babs is formidable!

I only have 1 question...................if Babs was paralyzed at 17 & took 1 year to walk again..................she is at best 19 now. Dick Grayson ( ;9 ) has always been a little bit younger than Babs so he is 18 & dating the manager of a bank in his book? :S & Babs has not been drawn as a teenager for a long time! :S

...................despite my confusion this book is the best!!!!!!!!!!! ❤

RATING: 10 Batgirls out of 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am here alone to present the next award which is Kara's Fav Stand Alone Event! I may be should call it Moment though so it is not confused with a big 'event' like "A versus X'............this is an event in a single comic book issue that makes you gasp or cry or laugh! & the nominations are!

1. The Joker Invades The Gotham City Police Department Headquarters ("Batman #13")!
2. Diana / Wonder Woman & Clark / Superman Kiss ("Justice League #12")!
3. Jean-Paul Beaubier / Northstar Marries Kyle Jinadu ("Astonishing X-Men #61")!
4. Peter Parker Sacrifices Him Self To Save The Captives Of The Phoenix 5 ("A versus X Round 9")!
5. Peter Parker Dies In Doctor Octopus's Body ("The Amazing Spider-Man #700")

4 of the 5 nominations were all mentioned in the main stream media.................okay may be not this event in the whole 'Death Of The Family' story but 3 of them any way.......................& the winner by a land slide is.........................

The X-Men had split the infinitely powerful Phoenix Force among 5 of their members...............Cyclops & Emma Frost & Namor & Magik & Colossus! The Avengers fighting as hard as they could were barely able through mostly luck to take down Namor................causing his fraction of the force to return to the other 4! Losing on every front the Avengers..............in "A versus X Round 9" from Marvel & a huge collection of creators....................must make a desperate attempt to rescue their captured members including the powerful Thor! They brake in & are confronted by both Magik & Colossus when Peter Parker...........the Amazing Spider-Man...............hurls him self at the 2, hoping against hope to buy his far more powerful team mates an opportunity to escape & regroup. Those team mates teleport away with the freed captives & realize they must instantly return for Peter................knowing that they must retrieve the remains of the hero. They teleport back to find................. 

.....................Peter, broken & barely alive but standing over the fallen bodies of Magik & Colossus! Convincing them that they were a threat to each other & that each should defeat the other to take her power................Peter Parker had defeated 1/2 of the Phoenix by him self! Proving that it is really Peter Parker who is 'the Superior Spider-Man'! :')

We are getting close to the end & both the best comic book & the best series! ツ*

I ❤ed this series sooooooooo much! "Minutemen" & "Spike" are both also fabulous but I hope DC Comics decides that Richard Swift...........the Shade natch!............deserves his own on going series! Fab story & great art! Just Excellent! :)

Okay I guess that we will have to take a break while Michael recovers from getting beat up by a girl! lol! ;b
